Los Angeles, California – Easter travelers and families across the West Coast are set to see near-perfect conditions, with dry weather and sunshine dominating from California through Oregon and Washington during the holiday stretch.
According to the National Weather Service’s 8–14 day outlook issued March 27, the West Coast falls within a below-normal precipitation zone between Saturday and the following weekend, signaling little to no meaningful rainfall across the region. This setup supports smooth travel conditions along major corridors including I-5, US-101, and I-10.
Cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle are expected to remain dry, with clear to partly cloudy skies prevailing through the period. Unlike much of the central and eastern U.S., no organized storm systems are expected to impact the region during the Easter travel window.
Temperatures will trend near to slightly above seasonal averages, especially across California, providing comfortable conditions for outdoor gatherings, beach visits, and travel. Farther north into Oregon and Washington, mild conditions will support pleasant daytime temperatures without significant weather disruptions.
Air travel hubs across the region, including LAX, SFO, and SEA, are unlikely to see weather-related delays tied to storms, a sharp contrast to wetter regions farther east.
Residents and travelers can plan outdoor Easter events with confidence, though standard spring variability still calls for checking local updates. This stable pattern is expected to hold through the holiday period, with no major advisories anticipated.
