West Lebanon, IN – Drivers along State Road 63 will face lane restrictions starting Monday as construction begins on a key stretch near West Lebanon, potentially slowing traffic during daily commutes.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, crews will close the right lanes in both northbound and southbound directions between State Road 28 and the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks beginning Monday. The closures are tied to a small structure piping project in the area.

Traffic will remain open in each direction, but drivers should expect delays, especially during peak travel hours. Temporary pavement markings and flashing arrow boards will guide motorists through the work zone, where speeds will be reduced to 50 mph.

The impacted corridor includes a frequently traveled route in Warren County near Seeger Jr./Sr. High School and just north of the West Lebanon area, increasing the likelihood of congestion during school and work travel times.

Officials urge drivers to slow down, stay alert, and avoid distractions while moving through the construction zone. The project is expected to continue through June, weather permitting, with updates possible as work progresses.
