Tampa, FL – Morning sunlight glows over the bay as Tampa wakes to a stretch of weather that feels more like July than late October. Warm, dry air dominates across west-central Florida this Friday morning, with temperatures expected to climb well into the upper 80s through the weekend. A few coastal showers may return by Monday, but for now, the region remains locked in a mild, breezy pattern.

According to the National Weather Service in Tampa Bay–Ruskin, Friday will stay sunny and dry with highs around 88°F and northeast winds gusting up to 20 mph. That same trend continues Saturday and Sunday, both mostly sunny days with highs near 87°F to 88°F—roughly 8 degrees above average for late October. Nights will cool slightly into the mid-60s, offering some comfort before warm afternoons return.

By Monday, a weak onshore flow could bring spotty showers along the coast, mainly north of Sarasota and around the I-75 corridor. Rain chances sit near 20%, but humidity will tick upward as a weak front approaches midweek.

The broader pattern shows no sign of cold air yet, though models hint at a slight cooldown by late next week—possibly in time for Halloween festivities. Until then, residents can expect blue skies, bright afternoons, and a touch of summer heat lingering deep into fall.
