Weld County, CO – Detectives with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an early Sunday morning shooting that left two people injured following a party near Weld County Road 19.
According to a media release from the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 12:51 a.m. along with several nearby law enforcement agencies after reports of shots fired at a residence in the 10100 block of Weld County Road 19.
Authorities said two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment and are expected to survive. The scene remains under active investigation, though officials emphasized there is no ongoing threat to the community.
“Detectives are continuing to work the scene, and there is no danger to the public,” the Sheriff’s Office stated.
