According to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 1:21 a.m. to a shooting at a residence in the 4200 block of Grand Teton Road. When they arrived, deputies met with the surviving victim, who also served as the reporter. According to deputies, the suspect allegedly kicked in the victim’s door and entered the home holding an unknown object.
