Weather Alert: Heavy Rain Expected in Wisconsin Through Tuesday Night

La Crosse, WI – Wisconsin is set to experience heavy rainfall starting tonight and lasting through Tuesday night, the National Weather Service (NWS) reports. The incoming weather system is expected to bring rounds of showers and thunderstorms, potentially leading to periods of significant rain and gusty winds.

According to the NWS, this rainfall could slow the fall of some area rivers or maintain their levels for an extended period. Residents are urged to monitor rising water levels in case renewed flooding occurs. The highest local risk areas include urban streets and other locations susceptible to localized flooding.

The forecast for La Crosse shows an 80% chance of rain on Tuesday, with temperatures ranging from a low of 61°F to a high of 75°F. Wednesday will see clearer skies with a high of 85°F and a low of 65°F. Thursday will be partly cloudy, with temperatures between 66°F and 83°F.

Looking ahead to Friday, there’s a 55% chance of rain with a high of 71°F and a low of 63°F. Saturday is expected to be sunny, with temperatures ranging from 59°F to 80°F.
