Wooster, OH – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with Toys for Tots for a community toy drive on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wooster Rural King (RKO), 3541 E. Lincoln Way. Residents are encouraged to help fill a sheriff’s cruiser with new toys for local children in need this holiday season.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, all donations collected will go to underprivileged families throughout the community. Suggested toy donations include board games, dolls, action figures, art supplies, building blocks, sports equipment, and farm toys.

Organizers ask donors to avoid battery-operated toys or items that are damaged or incomplete. All toys should be new and unwrapped to ensure safe distribution.

The event provides an easy way for residents to make a difference while spreading holiday cheer. Donations can be dropped off at the Rural King parking lot throughout the event hours.

For more information, residents can contact Sgt. Broome at 330-287-5750.
