Waukesha County, WI Offering Concealed Carry Classes This Fall

Waukesha, WI – Residents in Waukesha County looking to obtain a concealed carry weapons (CCW) permit have several opportunities this fall, as the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department announced new training class dates running through November.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, successful completion of the CCW course fulfills the training requirement to apply for a Wisconsin concealed carry permit. The classes are hosted at the department’s training facilities and are open to the public.

Sessions are scheduled for the following dates:

  • Wednesday, Sept. 17, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 20, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 15, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 18, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 5, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 8, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The department emphasized that seats are still available, but spots are limited and early registration is encouraged.
