Waukesha County, WI – Authorities in Waukesha County responded Monday afternoon to a reported threat at Richmond School in the Village of Lisbon involving a 70-year-old woman, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred around 12:53 p.m. on December 1, when dispatchers received reports of a woman allegedly making verbal threats toward school staff before leaving the property. Deputies determined the woman had reportedly allowed her dog to run onto school grounds, prompting some students to chase after it.

According to Lieutenant Nicholas Wenzel, when the woman re-entered the property to retrieve the dog, she allegedly made physical contact with two students and directed verbal threats toward staff members. She was later taken into custody and transported to the Waukesha County Jail on charges of terroristic threats, intimidation of a witness, and disorderly conduct.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office said no injuries were reported and that officers are coordinating with school administrators to ensure the continued safety of students and staff. Additional patrols will remain in the area as a precaution while the investigation continues.

This remains an active case, and no further details have been released.
