According to the NWS, westerly winds of 20 to 30 mph are sweeping through the region, with gusts as high as 45 mph. By Friday, similar temperatures persist, with fog lingering until 10 a.m. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with highs again in the low 40s. Saturday marks the next significant shift, with a slight chance of rain and patchy fog after 4 p.m. Precipitation becomes likely Saturday night, with temperatures dipping to 34°F.

Looking ahead to Sunday, residents should brace for steady rain throughout the day and evening. Highs remain in the lower 40s.

Residents are urged to secure outdoor items, check for local updates on weather-related power outages, and plan commutes cautiously until conditions improve later Wednesday.
