Chelan County, WA – Residents near Blewett Pass are under urgent evacuation orders today as the Labor Mountain Fire continues to spread in the Cascade Range. Officials have issued Level 3 “Go Now” alerts for certain areas, meaning residents should evacuate immediately.

According to Chelan County Emergency Management, the wildfire has prompted a range of evacuation levels. Level 1 advisories, marked in green, indicate that a fire is nearby and residents should be ready to leave if conditions worsen. Level 2 zones, shown in yellow, signal it is time to prepare family, pets, and belongings for possible evacuation. Level 3 zones, highlighted in red, require residents to leave without delay.

Authorities noted the complexity of the evacuation zones due to multiple Forest Service roads in the area. They are urging residents to consult the official Chelan County Emergency Incidents Map to confirm their current evacuation level.

Emergency responders are already assisting residents in the Level 3 zones but caution that individuals should not wait for a personal notification to leave. Those in Level 2 and Level 1 areas are advised to stay alert, as conditions can change quickly.

The Labor Mountain Fire remains active, and officials continue to monitor its growth. Residents are encouraged to follow Chelan County Emergency Management for the latest updates.
