Seattle, Wash. – After a damp and cloudy start to the weekend, western Washington is gearing up for several days of sunshine and warmer afternoons. Seattle will see highs climb into the mid-70s starting Sunday, with even warmer conditions expected by the end of the week.

According to the National Weather Service in Seattle, skies will gradually clear Monday with temperatures reaching near 76 degrees. By Tuesday and Wednesday, conditions will stay mostly sunny, with highs between 75 and 77. Winds will remain light, keeping evenings cool in the upper 50s.

The stretch of dry weather should be welcome news for commuters and ferry travelers, as no significant rainfall is in the outlook. Outdoor activities around Lake Washington, Discovery Park, and the Cascades should benefit from extended sunshine. By Friday, forecasters expect highs to approach 81 degrees, making it one of the warmest afternoons of the week.

Residents should prepare for cooler overnight lows, which will dip into the upper 50s most nights. This can mean brisk mornings before temperatures rebound quickly in the afternoon.

The sunny pattern is expected to hold through at least Saturday, with additional updates possible if conditions change.
