Spokane, WA – A mix of rain and snow is set to hit Spokane on St. Patrick’s Day, bringing potentially slick roads for morning commuters. The storm will start early Monday, March 17, before tapering off by the afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, rain and snow showers are expected between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. before shifting to light rain. Snow levels will drop to 2,600 feet by the afternoon. High temperatures will reach 50°F, with light winds from the southwest at 5 to 7 mph.

Monday night will be partly cloudy, with temperatures falling to 30°F. By Tuesday, Spokane will see a slight chance of snow in the morning, transitioning to rain in the afternoon as highs approach 49°F.

Midweek, the region will experience drier conditions with partly sunny skies and a high of 52°F on Wednesday. However, rain returns Wednesday night, with a 70% chance of showers continuing into Thursday.

Looking ahead, spring officially begins on Thursday, but winter-like weather lingers. Rain and snow are likely through Friday, with snow levels fluctuating between 2,200 and 3,600 feet. Highs will remain in the low 50s.
