Seattle, Washington – Seattle residents can expect one more warm push Friday before a subtle but welcome cooldown begins heading into the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures in Seattle will climb to 81°F on Friday, July 18, under mostly sunny skies. Light south winds up to 8 mph will keep things feeling warm but manageable. While no advisories are currently active beyond Thursday’s Heat Advisory, residents should continue to stay hydrated and avoid strenuous outdoor activity during peak afternoon heat.

By Saturday, the heat will ease slightly, with highs dropping to the mid-70s under partly sunny skies. Conditions remain dry and pleasant for weekend outdoor plans, especially across western King County and along I-5 through the metro core. Sunday brings a similar pattern, with a high of 75°F and increasing clouds late.

Looking ahead, Monday through Wednesday will feature stable summer weather: mostly sunny skies, highs around 77–81°F, and no major disturbances expected. Low temperatures remain mild, between 58°F and 61°F, offering some overnight relief.

No major rain systems are forecast through midweek, keeping travel and outdoor activities largely uninterrupted across the Puget Sound region.
