Spokane, Washington – Highs near 87°F and a chance for Memorial Day morning showers will shape how Spokane residents spend the holiday and start their week.
According to the National Weather Service, a weak system could bring light rain to Spokane after 11 p.m. Sunday and again Monday morning before skies turn partly sunny. Winds will shift from calm to southwest at 6–10 mph on Memorial Day, with rainfall totals likely under one-tenth of an inch. While not a washout, holiday travelers along U.S. Route 2 and I-90 should expect brief wet pavement and slower morning conditions.
Sunday itself will be warm and dry, with a high near 87°F under sunny skies. Light east winds will keep things calm for outdoor events. By Monday night, skies clear again with a low near 48°F, kicking off a drier, warmer pattern for the rest of the week.
Looking ahead, Tuesday and Wednesday stay dry and sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A low-pressure system brings a small chance of rain late Thursday, but otherwise, the five-day forecast favors summer-like highs and mostly clear skies.
Residents planning barbecues or regional travel should stay updated on any Monday morning rainfall. Beyond that, warm, stable weather will dominate the Inland Northwest heading into next weekend.
No official watches or warnings are in effect as of Saturday evening, but conditions could shift by Monday morning.
