Baltimore, MD – Residents across the Baltimore–Washington region are enjoying an unseasonably warm and sunny weekend, with light winds and highs reaching the low 80s, according to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington.

Forecasters report that Sunday (today) will bring “warm and sunny” conditions, with temperatures ranging from 76–82°F along the I-95 corridor and 74–85°F west of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The weather pattern will continue into Monday, though increasing cloud cover is expected as a frontal system approaches from the west.

By Tuesday afternoon, the NWS predicts a shift toward cooler, wetter conditions, with showers likely—especially in the evening. Daytime highs should still reach 78–82°F near I-95, but cooler readings near 70°F are forecast west of the Blue Ridge.

Forecasters note that temperatures remain above normal for early October, offering one last stretch of summer-like warmth before a pattern change later in the week.
