Addison, WI – A 32-year-old woman from Ripon died Saturday morning following a crash involving a semi-truck at the intersection of Highway 175 and County Road S in the Town of Addison, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred at 11:16 a.m. on September 27, 2025. Deputies said the passenger car failed to yield at a stop sign while traveling westbound on County Road S, striking a southbound semi on Highway 175.
According to authorities, the car’s driver was extricated with help from bystanders and transported to Froedtert Medical Center in West Bend, where she later died from her injuries. The semi driver, a 53-year-old man from Pennsylvania, was treated for minor injuries and released.
The Washington County Reconstruction Unit and Wisconsin State Patrol inspectors assisted in the investigation. Officials confirmed this marks the fifth fatal motor vehicle crash in Washington County in 2025.
Highway 175 and County Road S remained closed for roughly four hours to allow investigators to process the scene and remove the vehicles.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim, pending family notification.
