West Bend, WI – Washington County children have a chance to lead the upcoming West Bend Christmas Parade in a unique way — by riding along with the Sheriff. Up to three school-aged kids will be randomly selected to join the Sheriff in a squad car at the front of the parade on Sunday, November 30, at 5:00 PM.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, raffle tickets are now available for $1 each at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County, located at 103 S. Main St. in downtown West Bend. The more tickets purchased, the greater the odds of winning.

Tickets will be sold until 12:00 PM on Friday, November 28, when a random drawing will determine the lucky winner. The Sheriff will personally contact the winning family to arrange pickup and drop-off, either at their home or near the parade route.

All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters, supporting the nonprofit’s mission to connect local mentors with children and help them reach their full potential. Sheriff Schulteis emphasized the importance of the program, calling it a vital part of community growth and youth development.

Residents are encouraged to grab their tickets early and support a worthy local cause while giving area kids a memorable holiday experience.
