Jonesborough, TN – Washington County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three people this week after a probation violation case led to a vehicle chase and theft charges.

According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies were searching for Logan Andrew France, 27, on a probation violation warrant when they located him at a job site in Johnson City on Monday, Sept. 15. France fled in a Jeep Gladiator, which deputies later found at a home on Vanleer Avenue. Security footage allegedly showed his mother, Kristin Gail France, 51, picking him up at the residence. Deputies said France’s fiancée, Tiffany Shae Scott, 25, covered the Jeep’s license plate before fleeing. Inside the Jeep, deputies reported finding tools stolen from a job site.

Authorities located Kristin France at a residence on Rauhof Road later that night. Tiffany Scott was arrested in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Sept. 16, on West 10th Avenue. Both women were charged with obstruction and tampering with evidence. Kristin France was released on a $26,000 bond, while Tiffany Scott remains in custody.

Deputies arrested Logan France on Sept. 16 on Watauga Road. In addition to probation violation, he faces charges of theft of property and two counts of evading arrest. He is being held without bond at the Washington County Detention Center.

All three are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, Sept. 16.
