Jonesborough, TN – A Washington County man was arrested Wednesday morning after deputies allegedly discovered methamphetamine during a warrant service in Jonesborough, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Keith Sexton said deputies responded around 8 a.m. to the 200 block of Taylor Bridge Road to serve a warrant on a female suspect. Upon arrival, officers observed James Spencer Davis, 46, of Telford, sitting in a nearby vehicle.

Deputies reported seeing a clear plastic container on the dashboard containing about 4 grams of methamphetamine. Davis was taken into custody and charged with Manufacture/Delivery/Sell/Possession of Methamphetamine. Authorities also discovered he had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear.

Davis was booked into the Washington County Detention Center, where he remains held on a $2,100 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 23.
