Baltimore, MD – Residents across Maryland can expect clear skies, cooler air, and breezy conditions today as sunshine returns across the region. Highs will hover near 70 degrees, providing a crisp autumn feel for outdoor activities.

According to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington, winds will pick up from the north at 10–15 mph today, with occasional gusts reaching 20 mph. Afternoon temperatures are forecast to reach 67–75 degrees across urban and bay areas, and slightly cooler at 64–72 degrees in the mountains.

The mild, comfortable pattern will continue into Thursday. Winds will ease from the east at 5–10 mph, and temperatures are expected to settle in the mid-60s to lower 70s. Urban and bay communities will see highs near 73, while mountain areas will stay cooler, ranging from 57–65.

Friday’s outlook calls for continued dry and stable weather with light south to southeast breezes. Daytime highs will remain consistent, reaching 66–74 degrees across central Maryland and 62–70 degrees in higher elevations.

Forecasters say the stretch of sunshine and lower humidity should bring ideal fall-like conditions across the Baltimore and Washington metro areas heading into the weekend.
