Wasco County, OR – The Mid-Columbia Interagency Narcotics Task Force (MINT) executed a search warrant Monday, October 28, 2025, at a residence located at 4537 Hwy 30 in Wasco County, recovering illegal narcotics and related materials, according to the Wasco County Sheriff’s Office.
During the search, detectives located substances that presumptively tested positive for methamphetamine, along with scales, packaging materials, and U.S. currency linked to drug distribution.
Robert William Paasch, 64, of Wasco County, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Due to medical issues, deputies said Paasch was cited and released pending a future court date.
MINT conducted the operation with support from The Dalles City Police Department, Wasco County Sheriff’s Office, Hood River County Sheriff’s Office, and Hood River City Police Department.
A MINT spokesperson said the effort underscores the task force’s dedication to combating narcotics-related crime. “We appreciate the vital cooperation of all local agencies involved in this operation and remain dedicated to this collaborative effort,” the agency stated.
Samples of the seized substances will be sent to the Oregon State Police Crime Lab for further analysis and identification.
