Pueblo, CO – South-central Colorado will experience a warming and drying trend heading into the weekend. Upper-level ridging is expected to dominate the region, bringing mild temperatures and calmer conditions through Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Pueblo, high temperatures will range from the mid-40s to mid-50s across much of the area. Mountainous regions will stay cooler, with highs in the 30s and 40s. Overnight lows will remain chilly, dipping into the teens and 20s.
However, by late Sunday, the weather pattern is expected to shift. A new system will bring increased precipitation chances, especially in higher terrains. Mountain snow and rain could return Sunday night into Monday as the system strengthens.
Residents should take advantage of the pleasant weather to prepare for potentially wet conditions early next week. Travelers in the mountains should stay informed of any changing forecasts.
