Investigators said the victim was standing outside a residence when an unknown suspect allegedly drove up in a dark-colored SUV and fired multiple shots, striking the victim.
First responders from the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department and EMS arrived and began life-saving efforts, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The victim was later identified as Jakale Deshon Norman, 26, of Waldorf.
