Patchy fog this morning is expected to clear, leading to mostly sunny skies Monday with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Tuesday will remain warm with temperatures ranging from 76 to 83 degrees, but clouds will increase through the day, bringing a higher chance of rain overnight.
According to forecasters, the main system arrives Wednesday, when a cold front will sweep through the region. Widespread showers and possible thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, with temperatures dropping sharply behind the front — mid-40s inland and low-50s along the coast by Wednesday night.
Drivers are urged to use caution during foggy morning commutes and prepare for potential heavy rainfall and gusty winds midweek. Cooler, drier air is expected to settle in late Wednesday into Thursday.
