Fort Worth, TX – North and Central Texas will enjoy a stretch of mild, sunny weather this week before cooler temperatures arrive heading into the weekend. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth reports that conditions will remain dry, with clear skies and comfortable afternoons through Thursday.
According to the NWS, highs will range from the mid-60s to low 70s across much of the region — including Dallas–Fort Worth, Waco, and Killeen — before a cold front moves through late Friday. Behind the front, daytime highs are expected to drop into the lower 50s with overnight lows in the 30s.
“Sunny days and clear, cool nights are expected,” forecasters said, noting that temperatures will fall below normal for early December following the front’s passage. Typical highs this time of year hover around 59°F in DFW and 62°F in Waco.
No rain is expected through the week, and travel conditions should remain favorable across North Texas. Residents should prepare for cooler mornings by the weekend as clear skies allow for overnight chill.
