Fort Worth, TX – A weak cold front is sliding across North and Central Texas today, bringing seasonably cool weather and a slight chance of light rain, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
Areas that receive precipitation will likely see only a trace to one-tenth of an inch, with rain chances around 20% near Dallas–Fort Worth and 30% farther south toward Waco and Palestine.
Behind the front, skies will clear overnight, leading to cooler conditions with lows in the upper 30s to mid-40s. Saturday highs are expected to range from mid-60s in Sherman and Canton to upper 60s in Waco and Killeen.
Forecasters say the region will remain mostly dry and mild through the weekend, with typical early-November temperatures continuing into next week. Residents are also reminded to set clocks back one hour Saturday night as daylight saving time ends.
