Little Rock, AR – A dense fog advisory is in effect across much of central Arkansas, including Little Rock, through 9 a.m. Monday. Visibility may drop to a quarter-mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions, particularly on major roadways such as I-40 and I-30.
According to the National Weather Service, the advisory was expanded early Monday as fog continues to develop across the region. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, use low-beam headlights, and reduce speeds during the Monday morning commute.
Monday’s forecast includes patchy fog in the morning, followed by a 30% chance of rain after 5 p.m. Highs will reach around 62°F with calm southeast winds. Monday night, rain chances increase to 30%, with lows dipping to 45°F as north-northwest winds pick up slightly at 5 mph.
By Tuesday, the skies will clear with highs near 52°F and gusty north winds reaching 20 mph, providing a welcome break from the foggy start to the week. Sunny and dry conditions are expected through Thursday, with highs in the low to mid-50s.
