Blacksburg, VA – Warmer temperatures are expected across Virginia today and Monday, with partly sunny skies and dry conditions prevailing. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will reach between 54°F and 66°F today. However, clouds are expected to increase, especially in areas north of U.S. Route 460, with light rain showers possible in the southeast of West Virginia.

By Monday, temperatures will rise even further, ranging from 69°F to 81°F. Scattered thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon and evening, mainly impacting areas in the western part of the state, including Southeast West Virginia. Residents should be aware of the potential for strong winds and brief, heavy rainfall.

Looking ahead to Tuesday, cooler weather will move in, with highs between 50°F and 70°F expected. Gusty winds and cloudy skies will bring an end to the warmer conditions, along with lingering showers across Southeast West Virginia. Temperatures will drop overnight, with lows falling to 32°F to 42°F by Tuesday night.
