Wakefield, VA – Warming temperatures and continued dry weather are expected across Virginia over the next few days, according to the National Weather Service in Wakefield. Patchy fog may develop early Sunday morning before skies clear, leading to mostly sunny conditions and highs reaching near 80 degrees.

According to the NWS forecast issued at 5:06 a.m. Sunday, temperatures will continue to rise through Tuesday, with mostly sunny skies and dry conditions holding steady. Monday’s highs are forecast between 75 and 82 degrees, while Tuesday will see similar warmth with isolated showers possible later in the day.

Forecasters say a “seasonally strong” cold front is expected to move through the region Wednesday, bringing the next chance for rain and noticeably cooler temperatures by midweek.

Residents are advised to drive carefully during foggy morning hours and to stay updated on midweek forecast changes as the front approaches.
