Overnight lows fall into the mid-20s, allowing ice to form quickly on bridges, overpasses, and untreated roads. Winds increase along the coast, adding a raw, biting feel.
Sunday looks unsettled and cold. Rain becomes widespread again, but freezing rain may mix in during the morning hours before temperatures slowly rebound. Any ice accretion could stress tree limbs and power lines, raising the risk for isolated outages. Travel along I-264, I-64, and Route 58 may become hazardous at times, especially early Sunday.
