Vernon Hills, IL – Residents of Vernon Hills are gearing up for a spectacular July 4th fireworks display, scheduled from 9:15 to 9:30 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to park in the western lot of upper-level Hawthorn Mall and walk west along Center Drive. According to the Vernon Hills Police Department, officers will be present to assist pedestrians crossing the street. Temporary lane closures will be implemented post-fireworks to facilitate safe exit from parking lots.
Vehicles exiting near Lakeview and Hawthorn Parkways will be directed to turn in specific directions to ensure smooth traffic flow. For more information, visit the Village’s July 4th webpage.
