Burlington, VT – Snow showers will move into Vermont early Monday before giving way to sunnier and warmer conditions later in the week. Drivers on I-89 and surrounding roads should prepare for slippery conditions during the morning commute, with snow accumulation of up to half an inch possible.

According to the National Weather Service, a 30% chance of snow showers is expected before 10 a.m. Monday. The rest of the day will be cloudy before turning mostly sunny, with a high near 45°F. Winds will remain light and variable but could pick up slightly in the afternoon.

Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 30°F. Warmer temperatures will arrive Tuesday, bringing mostly sunny skies and a high near 55°F. Breezy conditions will develop, with southwest winds between 16 and 20 mph.

The midweek forecast continues with mild temperatures. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 32°F, and winds shifting from the north at 8 to 11 mph. A slight chance of snow showers returns Wednesday night.

By Thursday and Friday, temperatures will reach the upper 50s, signaling a gradual shift toward spring. However, scattered clouds and occasional gusty winds could make conditions feel cooler.

Vermonters should prepare for changing conditions and drive carefully Monday morning. Warmer days are ahead, but winter isn’t finished just yet.
