Greenfield, MA – A Vermont man was arrested in Massachusetts on October 14 after a traffic stop allegedly revealed firearms and a large quantity of drugs, including fentanyl. State troopers arrested Isaac Hodgdon, 25, of Randolph, Vermont, after pulling him over on Route 91 northbound in Greenfield.
According to reports troopers noticed that the license plate on Hodgdon’s Subaru Impreza was unreadable. Upon stopping the vehicle around 10 p.m., they discovered the car’s insurance had lapsed, prompting them to call for a tow. Before towing the vehicle, troopers conducted an inventory search, reportedly uncovering several firearms.
Further inspection revealed over 300 grams of fentanyl and cocaine, leading to Hodgdon’s immediate arrest. Hodgdon now faces twelve criminal charges, including trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, and multiple firearms violations. .
He was taken to a State Police barracks for booking, where authorities set his bail at $25,000.
