Burlington, VT – Vermonters can expect a stretch of warm, sunny weather through midweek before a late-week cold front brings cooler conditions, according to the National Weather Service in Burlington.

Forecasters say Monday through Wednesday will feature light winds, mostly clear skies, and highs ranging from the mid-70s to the low 80s. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s and low 50s, keeping nights seasonably cool.

According to the National Weather Service, Thursday will be the warmest day of the week, with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s and mid-80s. A cold front is expected to move through the region Thursday night, bringing scattered light showers and a noticeable shift in temperatures.

By Friday, conditions will turn breezier and cooler, with highs only reaching the low to mid-70s. Rain chances remain low, around 5 to 10 percent, but residents should be prepared for a different feel to end the workweek.

The weather service notes that no significant rainfall is expected, keeping outdoor plans largely unaffected for much of the week. However, the cooler air on Friday could provide a reminder that fall is not far off.

Residents are encouraged to enjoy the sunny start to the week and prepare for changing conditions heading into the weekend.
