Salt Lake City, UT – A shift in the weather pattern will bring increasing clouds and a chance of rain to Salt Lake City on Sunday night, impacting evening travel. Warmer temperatures and a slight rain chance will persist into early next week, with highs reaching the upper 50s.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will start with partly sunny skies and a high of 51°F. By the evening, clouds will thicken, and a 30% chance of rain is expected before 11 p.m. The overnight low will drop to 39°F. Drivers should remain cautious, as slick roads could develop late Sunday.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 59°F, offering a brief break from precipitation. However, another rain chance returns Tuesday morning, with highs reaching 57°F. Midweek conditions will clear up, with sunny skies and highs around 54°F on Wednesday.

Residents should prepare for changing conditions by keeping an umbrella handy and watching for road updates. Warmer temperatures will help melt existing snow, but icy spots may form overnight as temperatures drop.
