URBANA, IL – A 30-year-old Urbana man was arrested after allegedly threatening another individual with a firearm on March 15, 2025, according to the Urbana Police Department.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of S. Smith Rd. following a report of an armed subject. During the investigation, police recovered a loaded pistol and determined that the suspect, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms, was unlawfully in possession of the weapon.
Authorities arrested the man at the scene. The Urbana Police Department commended officers for their swift response and commitment to public safety.
