Marquette, MI – Fog and scattered showers are expected across Upper Michigan through midweek before a stretch of dry, warmer weather settles in.

According to the National Weather Service in Marquette, Tuesday and Wednesday will bring patchy morning fog along with chances of rain. Highs will remain in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees, with overnight lows dipping into the 40s and 50s. Commuters should prepare for reduced visibility during the morning drive.

By Thursday, conditions are forecast to improve as drier air moves into the region. Sunshine will return, and temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-70s. The warm, dry trend is likely to continue through Saturday, giving residents and visitors a pleasant window for outdoor activities.

Friday and Saturday are expected to stay mild, with daytime highs ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s under partly sunny skies. Overnight lows will stay cool, falling into the upper 40s and mid-50s.

The National Weather Service notes that this pattern should hold into the weekend, offering stable conditions for late September events and travel across the Upper Peninsula.

Residents are advised to take caution during foggy mornings, especially on rural and lakeshore roads where visibility may be sharply reduced.
