Upper Michigan Forecast: Cooler Today, Clouds Increasing This Week

Marquette, MI – Quiet and dry weather will continue across Upper Michigan through midweek, though increasing cloud cover is expected, according to the National Weather Service in Marquette.

Forecasters said Tuesday will feel cooler than Monday, but temperatures will still run above seasonal norms. Breezy conditions are expected in the Keweenaw Peninsula, while the interior west remains the warmest area. Highs are projected between 63 and 78 degrees.

Tonight, skies will stay cloudy with overnight lows ranging from 45 to 56 degrees. By Wednesday, conditions should remain mostly cloudy, with highs ranging from 63 to 68 degrees in the east and 66 to 78 degrees farther west.

Forecasters added that Wednesday night will bring slowly clearing skies, with lows dipping into the upper 40s and low 60s. A gradual warming trend is expected later in the week.

Travelers and residents are advised to plan for breezy afternoons but otherwise quiet and dry weather through midweek. More sunshine and higher temperatures are likely heading into the weekend.
