Conroe, TX – A Texas woman has been arrested in Montgomery County after allegedly posing as a medical professional and performing cosmetic procedures without a license.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies worked with federal Food and Drug Administration–Office of Criminal Investigations (FDA-OCI) agents to take the suspect into custody on August 22. Authorities allege the woman, identified as Michelle Davis King, falsely represented herself as a registered nurse or medical professional and conducted Botox and lip filler injections without proper medical supervision.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation began in April 2025 after multiple complaints were filed. The Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MOCONET) and VICE units assisted in the case, which reportedly uncovered at least two victims who suffered harm as a result of the unlicensed procedures.

Authorities said King was arrested on two active felony warrants for practicing medicine without a license. Her bond was set at $25,000 for each charge.

The sheriff’s office reminded the public that medical procedures should only be performed by licensed professionals and urged residents to verify credentials before seeking cosmetic or medical services.

This investigation remains ongoing, and officials said additional charges may be considered if more victims come forward.
