Two Tornadoes Confirmed in McDonough County Near Good Hope and Bardolph

Bardolph, IL – Two EF-U tornadoes were confirmed in McDonough County Thursday evening, with touchdowns near Good Hope and Bardolph.

According to the US National Weather Service Quad Cities, the tornadoes touched down between 6:56 PM and 7:02 PM CDT. Both tornadoes had a path length of less than a tenth of a mile and a maximum width of 10 yards. No injuries or damages were reported. The tornado near Good Hope was observed northeast of the Macomb Municipal Airport, while the tornado near Bardolph occurred in an open field between Bushnell and Bardolph.
