Little Rock, AR – The National Weather Service in Little Rock is tracking two storm systems that will bring precipitation to Arkansas — one this weekend and another early next week.

Even when combined, rainfall totals will be modest, generally 0.25–1 inch across most of the state through Tuesday.

Forecast Highlights:

  • 🌧️ Saturday–Sunday: Light to moderate rain will spread across much of Arkansas, with the heaviest amounts (up to 1 inch) in the west and southwest.
  • 🌡️ Monday: Colder air moves in behind the system. A weak storm could trigger a few light snow showers in northern Arkansas Monday morning.
  • ❄️ While the odds of measurable snow are low, forecasters say a dusting can’t be ruled out—particularly in the Ozark Highlands.

What’s Next:
Meteorologists note that forecast models are still uncertain about how the second system evolves. Residents are encouraged to monitor updates through the weekend as details on potential snow chances become clearer.
