ST. PAUL, Minn. – A stretch of quiet, comfortable weather is holding across Minnesota this week, keeping conditions calm for commuters and late-summer outdoor plans. Sunshine and mild afternoons will dominate the pattern through Friday, with little chance of rain across the state.
According to the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities, Monday started cooler with highs near 69, but temperatures climb steadily into the mid-70s by midweek. The warmest day looks to be Wednesday, reaching around 77 degrees before easing back to the low 70s Thursday and Friday.
The metro, including Minneapolis and St. Paul, will see mostly sunny skies each day, while central and southern Minnesota remain dry. Northern counties may pick up some passing clouds midweek, but no major systems are expected. The weather service notes this stretch offers a break from summer storms and humidity, making it ideal for travel, school sports, and outdoor work.
With no hazards in the forecast, residents can enjoy the stable pattern, though forecasters say more active conditions could return next week.
