St. Paul, MN – Minnesota residents can expect a wet stretch through the end of the week as daily rain chances continue through Friday night, according to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities. Light drizzle is expected today, with a stronger wave of rain arriving late Wednesday and lingering into Thursday morning.
According to forecasters, Thursday’s highs will range from the low 60s to mid-70s across southern and central Minnesota, with breezy conditions and off-and-on showers. Rain chances remain around 50 percent, especially in western areas.
By Friday, temperatures will peak in the mid-60s before a cold front moves through, bringing another round of rain and possible evening storms. Once the front passes, cooler and mostly dry weather is expected for the weekend, with highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s and partly sunny skies by Saturday.
The National Weather Service advises commuters to prepare for slick roads and reduced visibility during morning and evening travel periods through Friday.
