Twin Cities, MN – The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities says rain showers will continue east of I-35 and across parts of western Wisconsin through late Tuesday evening, with gusty winds gradually easing by Wednesday morning.

Tonight’s lows are expected to range from 30 to 45°F, with cooler readings in outlying areas and breezy northwest winds keeping conditions chilly. Skies will remain mostly cloudy overnight before clearing begins by sunrise Wednesday.

According to the NWS forecast, Wednesday will bring decreasing clouds and highs around 45–50°F, followed by a sunny stretch Thursday and Friday as temperatures rise into the mid-50s and low 60s by week’s end. Lows midweek will dip near the upper 20s to low 30s, leading to frost potential in rural areas.

Forecasters say the region will experience a calm and mild pattern heading into the weekend, with no significant rain expected until early next week.

Drivers east of I-35 should remain cautious tonight as wet roads and breezy conditions persist.
