Twin Cities Metro Weather: Rain and Storms Likely Over the Next Four Days

Minnesota – Isolated showers are expected to transition into scattered showers and storms this afternoon and evening. A stagnant air mass over the northern plains will contribute to a fair chance of diurnal precipitation each afternoon through Tuesday.

According to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities, today’s forecast includes a 30% chance of isolated rain and thunderstorms with highs ranging from 75 to 83 degrees and lows between 60 and 65 degrees. Morning fog is also anticipated.

Sunday will see similar conditions, with morning fog and a 30% chance of afternoon and evening storms. Highs will be between 75 and 80 degrees, and lows will remain steady at 60 to 65 degrees.

Monday brings partly sunny skies with a 40% chance of storms in the afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly warmer, with highs of 77 to 82 degrees and lows still between 60 and 65 degrees.

By Tuesday, the likelihood of storms increases to 45%, with partly sunny skies and evening storms. Highs are expected to reach 80 to 85 degrees, with lows between 55 and 65 degrees.

The Twin Cities Metro hourly forecast indicates temperatures will climb from 67 degrees this morning to a high of 82 degrees by this afternoon. The daily forecast shows continued precipitation with 40% chances of rain both today and Sunday, and a 45% chance on Tuesday. The air quality index remains good at 38.

Looking ahead, drier conditions are expected later in the week with partly sunny to sunny skies and warming temperatures. Highs will reach into the mid to upper 80s by Friday and Saturday.
