Minneapolis, MN – Morning drivers across the Twin Cities may face reduced visibility this week as patchy dense fog settles in during early hours, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS Twin Cities office reported Tuesday that quiet and dry conditions will dominate the region through Saturday, with the only notable hazard being fog during the morning commute periods over the next few days. Afternoon highs are forecast to sit comfortably between 70 and 80 degrees, paired with dew points in the 50s.

According to the outlook, Tuesday will bring highs between 70 and 75 degrees with partly sunny skies. From Wednesday through Saturday, residents can expect mostly sunny conditions, with temperatures ranging from 70 to 80 degrees. Thursday and Friday are expected to be the warmest days, topping out near 80.

While no severe storms or heavy rain are in the forecast, the patchy fog could cause slower travel times and hazardous driving conditions during the early morning hours. Motorists are advised to use low beams, slow down, and allow extra space between vehicles if fog develops.

The stretch of dry weather provides a seasonal break for outdoor activities, with humidity levels remaining low. The forecast suggests conditions will remain stable heading into the weekend.
