St. Paul, MN – Scattered showers and breezy conditions will move into Minnesota Monday, lasting through Tuesday before clearing skies return midweek, according to the National Weather Service Twin Cities.
Forecasters say rainfall totals are expected to remain under a quarter inch, mainly affecting western Wisconsin and areas east of Interstate 35 Monday afternoon. Winds will increase Monday night into Tuesday, with breezy and cooler air settling across the Twin Cities and areas north of Interstate 94.
Highs Monday will range from 55 to 62 degrees, followed by a drop to the upper 30s overnight. Tuesday will stay cooler, with highs in the upper 40s to near 50 and overnight lows around 40 degrees. By Wednesday, skies are expected to clear, bringing dry, sunny weather and slightly warmer highs between 45 and 55 degrees.
The National Weather Service issued the update Sunday afternoon, advising residents to prepare for occasional light showers, gusty winds, and cooler conditions before midweek improvements.
