Minneapolis, MN – A stretch of mixed weather is ahead for Minnesota this week, featuring cool mornings, spotty rain chances, and a noticeable warm-up by late week, according to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities.
Forecasters say Monday will bring the coolest conditions, with highs ranging from the mid-50s to mid-60s and lows dipping into the 30s and 40s, especially across western Minnesota.
According to the Weather Service, the best chances for rain arrive Tuesday (60%) across western and southern parts of the state, followed by another round of showers Thursday (50%) as warmer air pushes in. Highs will rebound into the upper 60s and mid-70s by late week.
Wednesday should offer a brief break between systems, with partly sunny skies and highs near 60 degrees. After Thursday’s rain, the weekend outlook is expected to trend drier and seasonable.
Residents are encouraged to plan for fluctuating temperatures and occasional wet commutes, particularly during the early morning and late afternoon hours on rain days.
