Tulsa, OK – Storm chances will increase across the Tulsa region today as a boundary moves into the area. Although widespread severe weather isn’t anticipated, there’s potential for isolated pulse severe storms. These storms could produce spotty damaging winds, making it essential for residents to stay informed and prepared.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Tulsa, the boundary, marked by cooler air pushing into warmer air, is expected to trigger thunderstorms. The region, including Tulsa, Bartlesville, and Muskogee, has a 60-70% chance of thunderstorms. Fayetteville and Fort Smith may see a 50-60% chance of storms.

While organized severe weather is not expected, isolated severe storms are possible. These storms could bring strong winds, posing localized risks. Spotty storm development is expected ahead of the boundary later this afternoon.
